None! Lessons start from the complete basics and gradually build up to more advanced concepts.
What level of experience do I need to have before starting the Level Up Your Piano Playing course?
Students who sign up for this course should have a basic knowledge of music reading, rhythm concepts and musical terminology. However, lessons are very thorough and will cover everything you need to know.
What kind of equipment do I need to take the course?
All you need is a piano or keyboard, and an internet connection! I recommend having a full size keyboard, with weighted keys if possible, to get the best playing experience out of the course. Additionally, a metronome would be useful (you can buy a physical one, or download an app).
How long does the course take to complete?
Super Simple Piano Foundations is 8 modules, and Level Up Your Piano Playing is 10 modules. The length of the course depends on your individual pace and how much time you are able to dedicate to practice. Some people may take 1 week per module, others 1 month per month. There is no pressure!
Can I access the course materials even after I complete the course?
Yes, once you have enrolled in the course, you will have lifetime access to all the course materials and resources.
Will I receive any feedback on my playing?
Yes, I can offer personalised feedback on your playing through this online platform. You can upload videos of your playing, and I will provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
What kind of music will I learn to play in the course?

Do I need to have any music theory knowledge before signing up?
No – all courses cover the necessary music theory concepts, so you don’t need any prior knowledge. I will guide you through everything you need to know to become a proficient piano player.
